FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 24: The holidays in Collingswood kick off on Friday, November 24 at 7 p.m.! He comes just in time for the Borough’s official Tree Lighting Ceremony. Choral groups sing as the town tree is lit up with twinkling lights and the Mayor and Commissioners express season’s greetings. The trees along the Haddon and Collings Avenue business districts will glow with hundreds of thousands of lights while storefronts sparkle, decorated with garland and decorations set up in beautiful holiday displays. On November 24, after the tree lighting, get the first pair of 2017 HOLOSPEX! These holographic lenses bend the light to create a magical pattern from every bright point of light. Just like in 2016 Collingswood merchants will release a new pair four weekends during the holiday season and the first pair, REINDEER, will be released just after the Tree Lighting!
