The May Fair, more than a mile of fun in the heart of our downtown, will take place on May 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Haddon Ave. It’s the town-wide tradition that draws tens of thousands of people to our Borough for a one-day extravaganza. The fair encompasses more than a mile of Collingswood’s historic downtown including live music, exhibitors, games, food, displays and nearly 200 crafters. The juried craft section features a variety of mediums including stained glass, jewelry, woodcrafts, pottery, mosaics, photography, painting, fabric crafts and furniture. The May Fair includes an expansive antique and classic car show as well. Car fanatics will be excited to see The Delaware Valley Old Goat Club again for the festivities along with other clubs and classics that come vying to win top prizes and trophies. “I’m not sure how the committee does it, but somehow the May Fair gets bigger and better every year,” said Collingswood Mayor James Maley. Attendance estimates for the yearly fair have climbed to more than 50,000 guests and just as many are expected for the fun this year. It’s also a great day to shop the town’s local retail and restaurants that offer specials. The event is thanks to the May Fair Committee, Collingswood HOORAY FOR MAY FAIR, MAY 26!
